Safe and trusted plumbing company

 

We will tell you how much you will be charged before we do any work. Minimum call out charge includes one hour labour and VAT and excludes parts and materials. We provide free quotations including a free visit of a property however you will be charged a call out fee for any investigative work for example a central heating fault or tracing a leak source.

We will charge you only for a time our engineers have spent solving your problem. We will not charge you for a travelling time, or for any time we spend collecting day-to-day parts (they carry most of the parts in their vans).

Charges

After we have diagnosed and solved your immediate problem you will receive an invoice which you have 31 days to pay by a bank transfer, cheque or cash. If substantial work is required we may request a deposit for materials only.

Uppeprlumbers' engineers do not overcharge or waste time.  Any over payment will be refunded immediately, and steps taken to prevent it happening in future.

Quotations and estimates

Once the initial diagnosis is complete, our engineers will happily provide a fixed price for required work. If specialist parts need to be ordered and another visit is required you will be provided with a free quote which you are free to decline or accept without any charges.

Guarantee

Appliance installations performed by Upperplumbers engineers, are guaranteed minimum for one year period. Upperplumbers Ltd also gives 1 year guarantee on labour work in case of a plumbing or gas repairs. Upperplumbers Ltd gives up to 10 years parts and labour guarantee on replaced boilers and up to 25 years parts and labour guarantee on replaced hot water cylinders (vented or unvented) and thermal stores (like Pulsacoil and Telford). Our guarantee does not cover temporary fixes requested by a client and waste/drain pipes clearances.

* No fix - no fee policy. Upperplumbers Ltd will not charge you for a repair if the problem hasn't been solved. The exception is an intermittent fault which cannot be diagnosed properly. In that case we will provide a quote and proceed with an attempt to repair only with the client's written consent. In cases like that the repair will not be guaranteed but the client will be charged a quoted fee.
