Baxi Combi 80e - faulty hot water THERMISTER

Baxi Combi 80e - faulty  THERMISTER TEMPERATURE SENSOR 5108265 WAS 247394

Central heating is working fine but the hot water is cutting off from time to time and the light flashes next to the crossed over hot water tap sign and then goes back to the temperature lights. This fault indicates a fault with a hot water temperature sensor which is located next to the plate hot water heat exchanger on the right hand side. You will need to isolate the water supply to the boiler and open a hot water tap to replace this part.

Baxi Combi 80e - faulty gas valve 5107339

Baxi Combi 80e - faulty gas valve 5107339

GC.No. 4707506

Hot water is intermittent. It goes hot and then runs cold and hot again. The boiler makes clicking noises and the lights on a control panel randomly flashing from time to time. It seems like a PCB Fault but actually it is a harness or a gas valve problem. If you disconnect the gas valve wires there should be a resistance between top 2 pins around 1.5lOhms and bottom 2 pins around 2.5kOhms. Between top and the bottom around 4kOhms. If there is no resistance between any of them then replace the gas valve.

Baxi Combi 105HE - loosing pressure fast

Baxi Combi 105HE boiler is loosing pressure very fast. First of all check that the filling loop which supposed to top up the central heating system with water was closed. Then you should check the expansion vessel charge it should be around 1bar. If there is no charge or water is coming when you pressed the nipple then replace or recharge it with the pump up to 1.5 bar. Top up the system up to 2 bar and watch the pressure discharge pipe outside the property if its constantly dripping or pouring water then Pressure Relief Valve have to be replaced. The part number is 248056 and you can order it from here. To replace this part you don't need a gas engineer.
